I know politics are politics; we as people have to redefine what politics means and what is acceptable. Let's start with lying. Not the mistaken, "Oh. This decimal point is off. Sorry for the factual misrepresentation of facts," incidental absence of truth. Not the statement made then it's removed because it was a mistaken misinterpretation. I'm referring to the blatantly false statements, people know to be lies, that are not just stated, but repeated, even after they are proven to be lies. Our candidates, from all parties, should represent the best of us, not the worst of us. Our candidates should be afraid to slander and lie, because of the united citizen's reproval. On that day, politics will be a little healthier.
